Created in 2022, the “Brasserie du Sandhaas” is more commonly called as a neighborhood brewery, which plays the card of authenticity, simplicity and tradition, while also offering original creations.
It takes its name from the nickname given to the citizens of Haguenau, the famous "Sandhaas", symbol of the town.
The modern, streamlined logo, with its vintage feel, represents a hare with a cape with a hop pattern. The cape is like a knight's and reminds us of a famous monument in the city, the “Tour des Chevaliers”.
The hop remind us that the city was a former international stronghold in the trading of hops during the 19th century, hence the « Halle aux Houblons ».
