Le Théâtre

Details

The Theatre of Haguenau is one of the 4 "Italian" theatres in Alsace. Built between 1842 and 1847 by the Parisian architect Charles Morin, 10 years before the arrival of the railway in town, it has a metallic structure hidden by a traditional pink sandstone façade. With a capacity of 420 seats, the Theatre of Haguenau testifies to a perfect osmosis between the neoclassical spirit of this type of structure and a contemporary approach synonymous with modernity and innovation.
