Located in the hilly landscape in the north of Brumath, Kriegsheim has 800 inhabitants and was honoured by many rulers: Emperor Maximilien in 1507, King Henri II of France (1552) etc. and General de Gaulle in 1959, and recently Nicolas Sarkozy.
88 % of the land is agricultural areas: vegetable and fruit cultivation is very productive in the village, local craft and commercial activity is constantly developing. 2 farms sell directly : Au Panier de la Ferme and Ferme Behl.
