Engwiller
Details
This small village nestled on a hill, with its 500 inhabitants, is still very much rooted in the Alsacian tradition, due to its half-timbered houses and its association Danse et Musique Folklorique of Engwiller which animates the village. The church of Engwiller is an important building for the village; its stained glass windows, made in 1959 by Tristan Ruhlmann, painter and master glassmaker, represent different psalms of the Bible and colour the interior of the church. Engwiller is a warm village that still lives through the various associations and its few annual events (Music Festival, Concerts, Messti...).
