To the west of Haguenau, Val de Moder unfolds its landscapes, which alternate between hills, vineyards, forests, and orchards. The Collines Trail offers a pleasant hike, a glimpse of this mosaic of landscapes, and some of the most photogenic viewpoints in the region. Along the route, you’ll come across an old vineyard shelter. At Geiersberg, take a seat on the Napoleonic-era bench made of Vosges sandstone to enjoy the panoramic view from an elevation of 261 meters: the Haguenau Forêt d’Exception® and the Outre-Forêt are part of the scenery. Then, on the heights of Morschwiller, you once again look out over the Alsace plain, and the view stretches from the Northern Vosges to the Black Forest.
